Medical Transcriptionist

Transcribes physician notes, consultations, and medical correspondence. Transcriptionists are expected to be expert transcriptionists in a given specialty (e.g., orthopaedics or otolaryngology), to which they will be assigned. Proofreads material for accuracy and spelling errors. Transmits completed work by deadline.

Job Requirements:

  • Most importantly, an intense desire to satisfy our customers by working as part of the team.
  • College diploma and an excellent command of English grammar and style.
  • At least three years prior medical transcription experience.
  • At least two years prior medical transcription in a given specialty.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, including manipulation of headers, columns, and sections.

Editor

Reviews all transcribed records to ensure accuracy and adherence to specific client formatting requirements.

Job Requirements:

  • College diploma and an excellent command of English grammar and style.
  • Medical background (most editors are former nurses).
  • Ability to clearly communicate feedback to transcriptionists.
  • Ability to work independently and a high degree of commitment and reliability.
  • At least two years prior medical transcription experience in a given specialty.
  • At least two years prior editing experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, including manipulation of headers, columns, and sections.
  • Ability to work independently, with a high degree of commitment and reliability.

Account Manager/Supervisor

This position has the following responsibilities:

  • Client advocate – You are the primary point of contact for your clients. You will stay in touch with new clients and any client with issues that need to be resolved. You are ultimately responsible for client satisfaction, with compensation tied to this objective.
  • Supervise editors – Clearly communicate feedback from the client to editors who work with you. Follow up on feedback to make sure it is completely and consistently implemented. Check and review transcription, immediately addressing any defects you find or clients report to you.

Job Requirements:

  • Most importantly, an intense desire to satisfy our customers by working as part of the team.
  • You will use your own judgment in your role as advocate. You will need to independently determine how to resolve each client issue.
  • Strong communication skills are necessary to work with the client’s staff, as well as to seek assistance from technical support, the operations team, the Operations Manager, or the CEO as necessary.
  • Medical transcription training and an excellent command of American English grammar and style.
  • Proficiency with Word 97/2000, including manipulation of headers, columns, and sections.

IT Support

Provides on-call technical support for end-users and network specialists who need to integrate proprietary software into office operations and processes.

Job Requirements:

  • Most importantly, an intense desire to satisfy our customers by working as part of the team.
  • BS Computer Science, or equivalent job experience.
  • Ability to make decisions independently and work effectively to resolve client issues.
  • Strong communication skills are necessary to work with the client’s staff, as well as to seek assistance from technical support, the operations team, the Operations Manager, or the CEO as necessary.
  • High degree of commitment and reliability.
