Vik Gavande, M.D., M.B.A.
As the CEO of Perfect Transcription, Dr. Vik Gavande has the background and experience to offer a better medical transcription service to the physicians he serves.
Dr. Gavande is a Board Certified Radiation Oncologist. He completed his Radiation Oncology residency at Yale-New Haven University Hospital, in New Haven, Connecticut. He received his M.D. from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. Before entering the medical field, Dr. Gavande obtained his Masters in Business Administration at INSEAD (l’Institut d’Administration des Affaires) in Fontainebleau, France. Dr. Gavande received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with Distinction from Yale University in New Haven. He was a National Merit Scholar.
At Yale, he worked his way through college as general manager of the Yale Apparel Group. Between his undergraduate and MBA studies, he was employed for a year as an analyst at Mercer Management Consulting in Washington, D.C.
